Sweet Retreat opens at Stowlangtoft Hall

Our new sweet shop ‘Sweet Retreat’ opened at Stowlangtoft Hall on 6 June. Open twice a day from 11.30-12.30 and 2-2.30pm, the shop provides the opportunity for residents and their families as well as staff to make purchases. The shop has proved hugely popular already with sales increasing by over 200% in the first week as compared to the previous mobile shop. Staffed by residents, the shop, with its pictorial price list stocks old fashioned boiled sweets, toffees, mints and other bagged sweets, crisps, drinks, greeting cards and all sorts of toiletries.
